EPICA has been picked as one of the top ten startups that investors are interested in at The Web Summit, from a list of more than 4,000 startups attending the so called “the best technology conference on the planet” by Forbes. The most requested category was Fintech, followed by the enterprise software and AI and Machine Learning.
EPICA’s CEO, Hernan Rodriguez explains, “We have been working extremely hard to bring the power of prediction to companies, it’s amazing to be recognized as one of the startups that investors are interested in the most because we truly believe that AI can change the game and a partnership would really accelerate the transformation”.
This year’s conference takes place on November 4-7, 2019 and it unites the people and companies that are redefining the global tech industry. It brings together more than 11,000 CEOs, 2,500 journalists, 1,200 speakers, and 70,000 attendees from over 160 countries in Lisbon, Portugal.
Diego Paramo, EPICA’s Executive Vice President will be presenting a keynote on Tuesday, November 5 at 11:10 a.m. The presentation is titled “High-impact predictions: Anticipate and Win with Machine Learning” - it will explore how to democratize access to Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, and how predictive capabilities have become a key capacity that any company can access.
This year’s Summit serves as a networking event in which attendees have the opportunity to connect with journalists, CEOs and people from the tech industry in general. Some of the speakers include the President of Microsoft, the CEO of Wikipedia, the CTO of Amazon, the EU Commissioner for Competition of the European Commission, and more. The attendees are the future of technology and have the power to shape the future.
